Are you wondering why my blog is named “So Sunny Day”? Here's a journal excerpt from a while ago that explains why:

My 2 year old sweetheart loves the outdoors, and she is such a conversationalist. So commenting on the current weather and her excitement over the garden and outdoors is a regular conversation at our home. One morning she woke up and exclaimed at the top of her lungs (over the baby monitor,) “Mommy,wake up! It’s so sunny day!” And with that the expression So Sunny Day became part of our everyday lingo. Here’s the thing: Whether or not the day is warm
and sunny or cloudy and grey, she will still find something beautiful about the outdoors and exclaim “It’s so sunny day!” For me it’s become the phrase to
explain anything that brings a little bit of joy to my day.

This blog is meant to be a quick escape in your day; a moment for you to pause from the hustle and bustle. My hope is that you’ll be inspired to keep your eyes open in order to find those moments that bring a smile to your face and make any day So
Sunny Day.
